NHS Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the leading NHS organisation for the London Borough of Bromley. As a CCG, we are responsible for buying and planning many of your local healthcare services. NHS England commissions specialised services in Bromley as well as primary care, including general practice doctors, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists. Since 1 April 2015, we have worked with NHS England to co-commission primary care services.
Our goal is to improve the health of people living in Bromley. The health services we focus on include community health services (such as district nursing; speech and language therapy; falls service and rehabilitation), hospital services, mental health, primary care (GPs), and urgent and emergency care.
We work with people who live in Bromley, and local health and social care organisations, to make decisions about how NHS money should be spent in our borough. It is our job to ensure the quality of our healthcare services. We are led by GPs and healthcare professionals who have many years' experience of caring for local people. We cover a population of more than 326,000 from Beckenham to Biggin Hill, Elmers End to Orpington.
Since our CCG was created in April 2013 we have been working with NHS partner organisations, the London Borough of Bromley and local people to plan, arrange and pay for most of the health services that patients in the borough need.
