Governing body meetings

What happens at a governing body meeting?

Our governing body holds its business meetings in public every two months. These meetings are open so that anyone can attend as an observer. Dates of forthcoming meetings are given below. Agenda and papers are published on this website before the meeting.

You can see past agendas and papers on the governing body papers page.

Public forum sessions

A public forum session is held before each governing body meeting. It is an informal opportunity for you to ask members of the governing body about items on the meeting agenda. You can send written questions in advance by emailing and/or come and ask your question at the meeting. The order and type of questions taken at the forum is at the Chair’s discretion. If there is not time to take all questions at the session they will be responded to afterwards. Any written questions will be answered in writing (according to the Freedom of Information Act) and we publish the questions and responses on our website before the next governing body meeting.

You can download the questions and answers from previous forum sessions.
