In December 2016, we held a workshop for Bromley residents to gather their views on our plans for transforming GP services in Bromley.    Presentations were provided by Jessica Arnold, Head of Primary and Community Care Services and Dr Chris Fatoyinbo, GP at the Links Medical Practice.   The aim of the workshop was to explain the changes to GP services that are planned over the next year, the challenges facing these services, the improvements already made and to gather views on three main areas of development.   These are:

 GP opening times and access

• Use of technology
• Integrated working with the voluntary sector

The event was attended by 34 people. Outcomes of the workshop have been used to influence the following areas of work:

 The CCG’s primary care strategy, plans and priorities for 2017/18

• Finalising GP contracts during early 2017
• Shaping how we take up full responsibility for primary care from April.
• Embedding integrated care networks
• Buying better services for patients from the wider health system.
