Date: 01 April 2016
The Bromley Medicine Optimisation Service (MOS) is a new service which will be delivered by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and available to patients from 3rd May 2016.
Following a successful procurement process undertaken by Bromley CCG the new service will replace the current Medicine Assessment Support Service (MASS) delivered by Bromley Healthcare CIC Ltd. The Bromley MOS service will provide patients with practical support to get the most from their medicines and also offer a new pilot service including a clinical review of patient requirements led by a pharmacist.
The transition from MASS to Bromley MOS is now commencing with patients being informed about the changes. The pilot scheme location is planned to cover approximately one third of the Borough with the location to be confirmed. The current MASS service will continue to operate as usual until transfer.
A further update will follow soon.
