Public and Patient Engagement Strategy

Date: 31 January 2019

The CCG’s Public and Patient Engagement Strategy – ‘Get involved in Bromley’ 2019 – 2021, sets out our commitment and approach to involve the public and patients in our work and how this activity is integral to the successful delivery of our strategic priorities. It sets out what we will do to meet our legal and statutory public engagement duties and how the outcome of this activity informs the development and delivery of local services, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes for our local population. We will do this through involving local people in:

  • Governance
  • Needs assessments and strategic planning
  • Service design and procurement
  • Co-production and co-design of improved services
  • Evaluation and monitoring of services
  • Joined up work with our partners in the Bromley health and care system

The strategy updates and replaces the 2017-18 Engagement Strategy.

Members of the CCG’s Patient Advisory Group joined the meeting to hear the discussion and said: ‘The team are tremendous, they really care about PAG members, and go out of their way to make sure we have all the resources we need to support the CCG. Their approach should be shared across other boroughs.’
