Stop the pressure at the PRUH

Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is holding a 'Stop the Pressure Ulcer Day' on the 20th November at the Princess Royal University Hospital site.  There will be a number of pop-up stands with staff to inform and explore different themes including falls, dieticians and more tissue.  The event will take place on level 12, North Wing corridor from 11-5pm. November is 'Stop The Pressure Month' with Worldwide Stop Pressure Ulcers Day on November 20th.

The aim of the Stop the Pressure month is to raise awareness and prevent pressure ulcers amongst patients.  There is a range of 'Stop the Pressure' resources with methods being shared and utilised across England in both primary and secondary care.  For more information visit http://nhs.stopthepressure.co.uk/.
