NHS Wi-Fi has been installed in Bromley GP Practices, so if you need to see your GP you can use the internet in the waiting room using your phone or tablet. NHS Wi-Fi has been introduced in response to patient feedback asking for free Wi-Fi services to be introduced in NHS locations.
When visiting your doctor, you can use the Wi-Fi to access and download health apps, browse the internet and look up health and care information. Installing fast and free-to-use Wi-Fi in NHS buildings is an important first step in the delivery of a digital healthcare experience.
Patients will even be able to use the Wi-Fi if they want to access their GP record online whilst in their consultation. They can then take a more active role in discussing and managing their condition, which will help lead to better health outcomes.
